Anthony Travalgia: Power play continues to be heartbeat of Bruins offense All three Bruins goals in Thursday's shootout loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning came on the power play as five-on-five scoring remains an issue.

Great game. Fun to watch. Would have been less fun if Stamkos didn't score in the shootout.

I really like watching Bergeron play. And you guys killed us on the faceoffs. I haven't looked at it on the stats, but it certainly looked that way from the popcorn gallery.

So....... It's now legal to put someone in a headlock in overtime? You guys are gonna run me out of here for saying it (again), but I really wish somebody would stomp a mudhole in Marchand and walk it dry. If I was Cooper, I'd sic Witowski on him and tell him not to stop pummeling no matter how much the rat turtles.

Of course, you guys love Marchand for this stuff. And I frequently hear "You only hate him because he plays for us. If he played for your team, you'd feel differently."

No, I wouldn't. The guy is too talented to be a poop. He doesn't need to do that stuff. If he played for Tampa, I'd be praying daily for a trade. Great hands and skills is no excuse for his antics.

Well, it should get interesting as the season goes on. Point is definitely not a fan now. And Marchand's object of affection Callahan is no longer here. So, maybe Point gets the next big sloppy kiss from the Rat. LOL.

After the game Point actually said what Marchand did was a great play

“I’m going for the puck, really it’s a great play. “There’s not much time, he breaks up a potential chance for us and he still gets to shoot in the shootout. There’s no real consequence for that, so really it’s a good play.”

I get it. I am hard on Marchand and I like the physical aspect of the game if it's clean. A well executed hip-check is a thing of beauty to watch. Trash-talking can be darn funny from a fan perspective. But face-licking, dirty stickwork, and headlocks should be frowned upon. At least Marchand has elite-level talent, so it's not a Lucic situation. Now there is a goon who shouldn't be allowed to play in this league.

Well, like you said, it worked to some degree. LOL.

This is just Brilliant, Is this what too much Sun does to you ?

However I really think they need a physical presence on the Ice, (not for TB) but I thought the Ricthie signing was a good one. haven't really noticed him on the Ice, everyone now and then I see #18 and think for just one second Nathan Horton is back

As much as I want Miller back, I DONT think Clifton should be the one to Sit.

It's what watching Marchand get away with murder again and again does.

He tries to hurt people. He's dirty. He's spears people. F him. And it's not like he's some stone-handed pylon who can only offer those things. He could drop all that nonsense from his game and be better for it. And the Bruins would be better for it. Enough is enough. Yeah, I wanna see somebody beat him into next week. And yeah, I am a Florida Man, so maybe it's the sun. LOL.
